A few days before it was due to be sold, she knocked the bottom end out - glad it happened in my hands to be honest as I couldn't have lived with myself if it had done it to the new owner.
The same guy still bought it, reduced it to £1500 to see it gone really. Matey should just need to pop a new crank in with some shells and she's a running car again. We comp tested it before sale and it was still spot on.
After a year of spending 95% of my free time on her, fixing this, changing that, I just got to the end of the road with it. Bargain for the new owner.
