Next time I need gaskets, I'll try to find this thread again; I like the idea of a thermal exhaust gasket too.

you'll need longer studs as the gasket is about 3-4mm thick.

Had one of the Gizzmo gaskets on mine for years now. You don't actually need to change the studs as the standard ones are just about long enough.

my nuts only just go on, i use nylocks and the nylock doesn't! :lol:


maybe the gizzzzzmo gasket isn't as thick as the Ferriday ones????

I bought one for my rebuild but as said the studs werent long enough i dont think there was even 5mm of tread to tread the nuts to so left it off
havent seen it for a while actually no idea where its gone lol

the Gits have refunded my money, the excuse was they don't deliver to UK,

there was no mention of that on their website.

You could try mr_nismo for one of his PTFE gaskets. Do the same job at a damn site cheaper price. Excellent quality and fit as well.
