Its very rigid. I'm going to be putting the original locks on to it

11lb is around 5kg....in other words........light
But dont forget you have to add the window, lock and the wing/spoiler. Although it will still be very light compared to the original. As Lou said its ment for the serious competitor were every last gram matters.

Got some pics of the normal shape bonnet I done. Built it for a hillclimber down in Devon only weighed 12lb, pm me for any details. Anybody interested in a flat G/F bonnet let me know as ill do the first one at a discount to see what it looks like finished. ( I cant use one under the regs a race under)
