Fuel sender resistance

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone had measured the resistance of the stock fuel sender, both when the fuel tank is full, and empty? My R is currently off road (ie not running) so I'm not able to do this myself. It appears some aftermarket gauges will only work if the sender outputs 0-120, 10-180, 33-240 Ohms, etc.

If anyone can help I'd be very grateful,
Many thanks,
Dave

That is a brilliant find! Thanks very much for the info and pointing me towards the excellent manual.

Very happy now!

The Nissan parts database program is called FAST; that's the "proper Nissan parts disc" (actually for an import it's probably JAPFAST). Is that what you mean, or have you paid for a CD of all the scans in the online manual?
