fuel pressure regulator

steve @dynodemon said that it was leaning off slightly mid range, and said that although i had a new pump fitted, the first thing he would change is the fpr,as he suspected it was restricting the flow to the rail, obviously as it was cammed.it was putting extra demands on the original regulator, and then a remap,to get the fuelling sorted throughout the rev range.

Don't know what make the FPR is as i bought it off ebay, but they said it's for the Pulsar GTir,and it has a guage on it so can set the pressure ok.

Maybe, but after being reminded I'd check the wiring first as its a known problem where as FPR's are generally reliable.

At 0.9 bar you shouldn't really need any sort of remap.

will put a meter on pump tomorrow and check it over.
How far can the standard map cope with,as it's been suggested that it'll only cope with 1 bar??
