engine problem

i was driving my pulsar the other day,i was givin it sum at the time,was in 4th,doin bout 5 thoundand revs,and it felt like i hit the limiter,now every since then,wen cold,its fine,but wen warm,it does not want to pull as it should in any gear,it is still boosting,but get to a certain rev and it starts to back fire....

any1 any clues??

im in nottingham,does any1 also know where i can take it to get looked at??

could try a fault code check, the procedure is at the top of this section, if its only now and again i would suspect the MAF sensor as this is the primary engine load sensor and if faulty will cause backfire through inlet

if its just low on performance suspect ecu safe mode, as the knock sensor is detecting det', poss due to heat soak (if top mount fitted) as alot of other people have experienced
