just booked this as an absolute bargain with focused events, monday 3rd september:-D
its the full gp circuit too.
there are still places available if anyone else wants to go but youll need to be quick

its a 98 static test from what i can see, which i know my car will pass! but a few will struggle (yourself included) unless you have a bung fitted such as ben did the other day!

I think it is coming a bit too early for me as I need to silence my exhaust and sort out the blowing gasket but sounds like a real bargain. They do have others though so well worth it.

Its an absolute bargain but I think I've got a few too many hurdles to climb to be ready for this, but going to have a long hard think about it.

be great if you could make it, il be running some different rubber this time lol

had the car on the lift today and ive knocked my tracking way out due to my offroading, it now squeals like mad on the right on a righthander:shock: so gonna have to get that sorted

I've just spoke to Leah at Focused Events who went and confirmed this -

The noise limit on the day is 98db on the drivebye! Not static. Which is super high and thats why I double checked.

A goose with a straight thro decat pipe would pass that.

yeah i know, my megabusa failed the driveby limit there and i had to have an early day (one reason why i flogged it) but a pulsar should be no problem i reckon

I'm defo not going Bob.

At the mo there's no way I'd pass the noise regs there with doing the same as Bedford which saved the day but was far from ideal.

The drive by is 98 db but is under the gantry and is similar to a static test of 98 db (Dad got black flagged Sunday on his bike with his baffles in). Its something I've got to sort but havent got it in me for another long week of late nights to get the car sorted.

Absolute real shame but I've given myself 3 weeks to get the car totally sorted and will be looking for something after then (got a Lydden on 29th Sept).

And also really need to get some bike days in this year whilst the weathers so nice.

ok ben shame but understand your reasoning as i got sent home there last time with my megabusa which was way above the noise limit.

im hoping my r will be ok as i got blackflagged at bedford also.

theres a guy going off the tvr forum who thinks he can whoop the pulsar so will be interesting to see as i would hate to be beaten by him lol

ive changed the tyres on my car to some r888s on the front and paradas on rear to gain some more grip as you witnessed what happened at bedford lol (no time to get a new set of sliks)
now the engines run in ive also upped the boost to 1.6 bar as it was severely lacking in straight line speed so hopefully that will keep the raced up cerbera out of reach behind me, if not im gonna have to swallow a big slice of humble pie:lol:

will let you know when i book another ben
