Just taken the engine out of they old 'P'..which was not that easy when the biggest job i had done on the car before was a nothing bigger than a service..anyway got the housing off the engine and took off they old clutch which to my suprise looked in quite good nick....
But before hand when i was running at 1 bar it was giving me some right slip...revs would go up but the speedo followed a lot later..specially in 5th gear..
I have seen cluthes before that are down to the metal but this one seemed quite meaty....the springs were loose though and the bearing had play in it..What do they usually look like when they come out of pulsars..The old clutch looked quite standard not like this Helix baby!!!

When your clutch slips the engine revs will rise quite quickly, but you should be able to tell that the car isn't accelerating anywhere near that fast if at all.
If it feels like it's accelerating hard then the speedo might be abit sticky.
But if it was only doing it in say 4th or 5th then suspect the clutch
