clutch release bearing

Has anybody had the clutch release bearing fail if so what did the car go like i.e symtoms because i think mine has gone and was looking for confomation and does any body know of any other way to fix it than taking the engine out [V][V][V][V]



For the love of god why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if the clutch release bearing is on it way out it will whine when the clutch is disegaged and the noise will disappear when clutch is pressed.in extreme cases you will be unable to select gears if it is broken it will result in some damage to clutch and gearbox casing

Whats symptoms have you got[?] if the bearing has failed you'll know about it...crunch[!] crunch[V] grind[]

Ooooohh...its black..yawn..with 17'S..yawn..mongoose..yawn...zzzzzzzzz...BUT NOT FOR LONG!!!!!!!!!!

some times it sound like release bearing but its the the input bearing in the gearbox i know change the rel bearing only for the noise to be still there[!][] if the input bearing fail can be very bad[V]
