click thruogh steering

When i steer every now and again i can feel a slight click through the steering as if somethings loose/worn

first throught is steering rack :shock:

now as a counter measure i have ordered complete inner and outer cv joints all round :shock: wheel bearings all round :shock: and new lower arms and ball joints and track rod ends :shock: :shock:

so could the clicking be any of the above components or is it most likely the rack

I am trying to make the complete running gear and drivetrain of the car as new/mint as possible so will replace the rack anyway at some point :shock: but just thought i'd ask your opinion :roll:

Might want to be sitting down when you go for the rack, my friendly local Nissan dealer reckoned it costs around £700 and from the sounds of it one hell of a long time for delivery.
Does it click if you turn the steering standing still? (I know you shouldn't, but we're fault-finding here )
