Changing rear pads ?

can anyone confirm that when changing the rear pads if the caliper pistons need to wound or just pushed back ?

You can buy a piston "cube" for the job dotty i have one if you ever need the lend mate shout

Yes but only on simple push in types as in the front pistons, the back ones have to be screwed in as this is the adjustment for the handbrake if they are clean enough there should not be a problem but using a g clamp on them will put ecess strin on the threads and then you run the risk off having to get new calipers!!

the cube does most cars and is about a tenner worth having in your specialist tools section :wink:
