cat light come on when starting

Have you checked all the earths are good. Electrics can do some weird shit when they have a bad earth. The cat light might be getting a back feed from something else through the cluster if there is a bad earth connection in the car. This could screw the ecu up too!

just checked the igniton wiring and have found one of the wires which plugs into the back of ignition barrel one wire is cut and disconnected and dont know were it go now theres is 6 wires which come off it and the wire is a black with a blue stripe could anyone quickly rip there steering colomn surround and tell me were this wire connects to???

just checked and there is no wire to were this connects to it seems like in its life it has been broken into and the igniton barrel has been changed to something other than a gtir becuase i compared it to my sss and i only 5 wires on my sss lol
