Have the club done any tests, polls or reviews on the best brake pads available for the standard gtir brake calipers?

ie the following

1144 or 1155 compound mintex
ebc pads reds/yellows/blue greens
Porterfield pads

etc etc

My usage is for fast road/occasional track day

I am considering a front brake conversion if even with a fully overhalled top spec std system is still not up to the job but thats irrelevant at this minute

std brakes imo are only really good for slow road, when i bought mine it had std brakes on with pagid pads good inital braking but faded very quickly.

willwood is a good cheaper alternative.

carbotech can make pads for any car and are the best i have ever used they may even have them ready on shelf if they are a common pad

have a look on the mlr for the sort of response they get
