brake-fluid reservoir

Need some info.. I have the brake-fluid reservoir off on my car
and need to move it about 12ft..so the car will need to be started up..
As I have abs fitted would the damage the
Pump Unit if I start it up ?? Or run air into the system..?

The brakes are a sealed unit. you can move it. wont break anything.

I would have thought the only issue would be a slight leak somewhere causing it to pull air in... and the solution would be to bleed it back out. - No harm done.
