Thing's can fail. fuel filters can block, fuel pumps go up the swanny..............anything can happen, might just have had the gasket fail.
I hope it is just the gasket and not the block/head that would really really be a kick in the ballsThing's can fail. fuel filters can block, fuel pumps go up the swanny..............anything can happen, might just have had the gasket fail.

 proper jet stream  I would have a rebuild but I've spent alot on it at the start( rebuilt engine) new head new tubby cost around 4k after all the messing around I had to do + buying the car:der:, time will tell what happens I'm a little skint at the mo so have to start saving to get it flying againWhat was it, a jetstream?
Unlucky mate, lots of us have been there. If you decide to go a bit mental when rebuildin git, why not buy an engine thats already had the work done-Bobby has a few and they come up for sale on here every so often. It works out a shit ton cheaper this way- eg I just found my old rebuild bill and its for £5800 just for labour and things like new valves&shims/gaskets/oil pump etc not including the £3k+ of parts fitted.
