best clutch for 500hp

Hi there,

anybody here, who can tell me which is the best Clutch for arround 500 hp?? The HKS i have is not enough.. Please tell me which is the best and where i can get them?

os giken is about only option unless u get a superclutch either twin plate ceramic or organic think its what teh norris evo runs on so must be upto power

jgy do an iron disk clutch for reasonable money. Its rated for 510lbft!!!!!

I have a 6 paddle spec clutch from JGY rated at 464lb's seems to work ok
but I cant say what it's like in the long term yet as my car is only just mobil .

well they are emant to make a whining noise like chewbacca but mine only does it rarely, infact hardly at all :shock:

My mate had a twin plate on his skyline and it used to make a rattling noise whenever he pushed the clutch in. But its nothing to worry about

From memory chewbacca is only there when cold .

OS SUPER Single also sound like that

it good for launching
better than Twin plate type

but it not pleasure to drive Single Plate compared to Twin plate
Twin Plate is more driveable

Yup, I have one of these, It makes a very slight grinding sound when the clutch is pressed down.
