Battery Relocation Kits

Guys,

Im looking into some battery relocation kits, ive found a couple but i just need to check that the gauge of wire is correct. The wire ive found is 2 gauge and comes in 6m for the positive and 1m for the earth, it has all the relevant terminals etc as well. There is also a battery disconnect switch which will cut the current from the battery in the event of an accident etc.

does this seem to be the right sort of equipment needed, if so then il buy one and see if i can get a group buy sorted as well.

cheers
ian

Is that 2 AWG cable ? If it is, that will be more than adequate

That's like overhead an power line

If anything, it maybe too thick to work with, what with trying to get it through the fire wall and under the carpets etc... to the boot. 4 AWG might be more suitable ?!

Depending on how expensive the kit is, I'd see how you go as I have never seen 2 AWG cable, I've only worked with 4 AWG and thinner, so, it maybe fine ?!
