being a bit tight with money and needing coilovers as car sat too low at front i have put on mk2 golf gti avo coilovers on the front

more or less straight fit needed base made wider to go over the hub and a washer made up for the top mount

car now sits better and seems rock hard ain't been out in it yet so don't know how good the handling is

mate spring rate should not be the right one!!gti-r is a heavy car, springs are rated for the golf so porably too soft.

probably right golfs are heavy but replacement springs are only £20 to what ever rate you want will just need to experiment
