The only difference ive noticed so far is the car feels responsive all the time even after ive been stuck in some traffic. I remember on the standard at times it lacked the kick sometimes, but with the ARC so far it constantly feels strong.

It suprised me at one point after being in traffic, then I remembered I had an ARC on  . I did notice when opening the bonnet after a run in town the ARC felt only a bit warm, I remember doing this with the standard TMIC and it felt like a George forman grill. Could have done a fry up on that, but Too be honest for the power im running, I never had any real issues with the standard TMIC but to have an ARC is just a big bonus really.

I had a blap with another Pulsar owner who was running almost identical spec as me but with an FMIC instead of a TMIC and a mongoose exhaust as opposed to my Kakimoto. Mine was noiticeably quicker, whether thats due to the car being more responsive through the gears from having the TMIC I dont know. He just didnt seem to have the same pickup on boost.

I never managed to get my Charge Temp sensor working which is a shame, would like to do some tests with the standard TMIC and ARC.

Basically its an uprated and thicker core, to get the charge temps down quicker, and allow you to run higher boost more safely. You will probably still suffer form heat soak if your stuck in traffic all the time, but then you`ll find the core will cool down much quicker than the standard TMIC once on the move again.

Basically if your running moderate power, want to keep the car original then the ARC is definately the way to go.

There are alot of mixed opinions with using the TMIC, but ive had my car nearly 3 years and the engine is still spot on. Even got some black SFS hoses to soon be going on the car instead of the usual blue or red.
