There a brilliant investement...all the cossies, you cant really loose on one at the mo, infact you cant loose on any car with the RS badge for that matter, some of the prices people are wanting for tip top fiesta rs turbos and the like is crazy, can remember in 2000-2002 you couldnt give an RS turbo away now they fetch more than your average gtir :lol:

Do you know how much some rs500s go for,14/17k is shitter money:lol: 25k-30k-40k one sold last year for 49k 8)

I think the Cosworth brand / engineering was the thing that made them special. For me Ford seem to have lost the edge they used to have an example being the current RS Focus, i personally think its quite poor for what people are wanting to buy into.

Maybe on the next RS Focus they can get something right and slap on a nice 4x4 system and some serious power figures to go with that additional traction.

Ford have more or less confirmed that the new rs will be front wheel drive , ive still got my fingers crossed though.

its not AWD

it's like paying someone to do your garden and they only do 3/4 of it, they'll tell you it's fine and that's how it should be, your neighbours will all agree that its 100% complete. But something sticks in your mind because you can remember the last time it was done it was fantastic! and you thought it would always be as good as it was the last time.

I think personally the focus was FWD so that the Escort Cossie would remain a legend :noidea:
