Ive changed the bulbs, checked wireing and still the number plate lights dont work, i was unsure if there was a fuse but ive checked all the fuses in the car near driverside steering wheel and there all fine
It cannot be hard to fault find. Buy a 7 quid test meter at screwfix. Set it to DCV 0-30. Check across the two wires. If no volts, follow the wiring diagram back from there. If 12V there its a bulb/contact problem. Also, one of the two wires will be connected to chassis metalwork

If you still cannot fix it, find a side light wire in one cluster, and drive your no. plate light from this
