I haven't been back in here for Years but after the Gearbox scattered christmas eve I need some help
can anyone point me in the right direction to the boys in the know
tho i haven't had the car near a Dyno
I've got one of Fusion Eds Gt3071Rs running enough boost to brake stuff from reading this morning seems it might be a 3rd sycro failure
but id like to get some advise from you lads

You should be able to order all those gearbox parts direct from Nissan (last time I had mine rebuilt).

If you've got some spare cash, I would look at adding some PAR/PPG cogs to deal with that extra power too!

3rd 4th and 5th I kept the same shaft, new bearings and syncro's.

I think 1st and 2nd "might" need the uprated shaft but I'm not 100%

I would have a search around on the forum or use keywords like "Quaife" to see what the consensus was, as I can't remember 100%!

Cheers Andy, I have most things I need as I stripped a sunny gtir 15 years ago :), I did struggle with handbrake cables but am sorted now, but as you said there doesn't seem to be the parts about that there were 10 years ago when Bob Heywood was the go to Man, will keep you posted how it goes.
