Air Intake Charge Temp

hey ho,

Does anyone have any idea on standard and modified air intake temps, after its come out the intercooler. I know it not the type of thing standard peeps r gonna know but, what the hell.
A mate of mine has a Megane 225sport, and Ktec sell an intercooler tha drops the std temp from 58 to 38. But 58 as std seems bloody high


any ideas ? :?

Ask Coxie as he has a temp sensor plumed into his intercooler pipe.

I have one in mine but i have no engine at the moment.

On top mount at 1 bar i got up to about 60 deg C giviing it large from 1st to
5th:shock:

With front mount highest seen so far at 1.1bar is 25deg C8)

So yeah prob would drop the cooler temps, the problem with the R is the airflow just cant get through the standard cooler fast enough as it has to do a 90 deg turn + its sat onto of the warm engine
