Adjusting the Fuel Pressure?

Im finally getting round to fitting my new fuel pump, but do i need to fit a new fuel pressure regulator or will the standard one automatically increase once the new pump is in :?:
Am i right in thinking that i need a fuel pressure of between 3-3.5bar when running increased boost to stop the engine running lean at higher revs :?:

i was told that the standard runs at 2.95bar which is adequate enough for most applications, but 3bar is better.
set mine to 3bar

No different fuel pump doesnt increase pressure thats what your reg is for i was told ours is more 2,5Bar and around 3 is best, i fitted a walbro 255 and you wouldnt realy notice the difference apart from the extra fumes but i have a pbv ready to fit but this needs set with a pressure guage and possible a safc or re map so the ecu knows theres gona be more fuel goin in when the inj open best not try screwing it up yourself. :!:
