12v ignition switched power feed

Guys (& gals),

I am going to finally fit my boost controller, where is the best place can I get an ignition switched 12v power feed from ?

And what is the best way to route the "live" power cable into the car ?

Thanks a lot....

I did try and use the search function (before I get seriously flamed) but nothing useful popped up.

Take it off the back of the ignition barrel ( and through a fuse ;) )

My cigarette lighter don't work :(

Yeah I just wondered whether there was a switch accessory 12v feed which was lurky somewhere in the wiring loom....
