Clutch fork

Is there a guide somewhere for beefing up the clutch fork?

What I did:

Prep fork for welding
4mm steel - cut to suit
Weld steel on to fork to cover area as picture below
Paint over with some Rustoleum or similar
Drink tea

I thought there was a better way now Andy ? As if you only do that it just snaps where the join in your thumb is sure Danny, Martin or someone had a tried and tested method ?

That was my tried and tested solution for 7/8 years with an RPS Street Max clutch.

Its never failed and last time I looked at it (last year in June), it showed no signs stress or any fractures!

I didn't know there way any other ways of doing it?

Not sure then. That's all mine is the other one I as sure adds strength to not just the pivot ball area but stops the bar bending and snapping. Maybe they will see this and comment or say am talking shit lol

They do , a washer,a plate and a brace on the rear.

its about money!i think it cost me £45 not looking to lose much , the cars going this year ! and I'm not planing to take the engine out just to change the fork so yes also got a new release bearing if interested Im in the USA till sunday got a couple of photos if you want .
