i just plugged my car into my laptop and had a look how it was running with ECU Talk, the 2 things i wasn't sure that where right were the timing and the O2 Sensor.

the 02 sensor was going up to about 0.52 V max but was dropping to 0.00 V for long periods and didn't seem to move even if i was revving the car.

the timing gauge would go up to 40 when i was revving the car then would drop down to 20, and stay at 20 for about 10 seconds then it would start to jump about between 12 and 16 on idle.... dose this sound right for a car that meant to be set to 20 degrees BTDC

What about the timing that stays around 20 on cold start when the cars reving abit higher but when the rev go down to 950 it sarts jumping about between 12 and 16, its Like the timings been done on cold engine

the timing sounds just about right as the ecu takes over the timing when you raise the rpm ... on idle it would be set to 20 degrees which is what you are getting.

Yeah 20 degrees on cold start when engine is at 1500rpm but jumping between 12 & 16 at normal idle At 950 rpm
