I did, but then I went spazzo on the parts list and just kept adding extra stuff "just in case".Wish I'd just stripped it and sold up when the engine went.

May sound a bit of a noob question but are the stock gtir rods cast?
Not that i have seen a gtir rod for a while now,but for some reason i always though they were possibly forged as standard?

Forged buy the look of the design and the strenth of them, i have only ever seen the standard bolts fail on them, never a rod snap yet.
