I recommend a dawes device. - There are no whizz bang alarms and lights, but it does what it says it will.

I just fitted the greddy profec b controller its decent bit of kit, but if I hadn'tHad it sitting around then the dawes device would be just as good and well worth the £200 saving for some flashing lights and basiclly a alarm for over boosting.

I have a Dawes type device with ceramic bearing(supposed to react faster than the steel ones)-£15 delivered. It held rock steady boost on mine with no spiking.

Do they explain how they figure that? It's the spring with gives you the boost setting and therefore the reaction surely. All the bearing does is forms a seal to prevent the boost getting past. That's about what they charge for one with a steel bearing anyway isn't it?

Pat, the dawes device is different in that it has the spring and bearing (as mentioned above) rather than just continuously letting boost out. - It should remain shut until the desired boost level is hit, then open.
