Anyone get any photos? - I wanted to spectate, but evidently I was required for manual labour this weekend by my wife.

you didnt miss anything. Was really disappointed with the whole thing. cant have been much more than 30 entrys. Drag runs literally had no one running at times. Ive done 7 of the totb's and wont be doing another. I remember back a few years where there was a 2 mile que just to get in, cars lined up the full lengh of the pits for the drag runs ect ect. No big players there now, roger clark scooby, norris evo ect. I left at 12 to get home in time for the F1. Didnt go last year as 09 was starting to get much quieter but this just put the nail in the coffin as far as im concerned. Certainly glad i only live 45 mins away as if id traveled a good few hrs would be very disappointed. Unfortunatly missed the 2 r's running as was at the drag side when they were on handling and visa versa

Anyone who went know what engine the scooby running that did the really quick 9's had?? Was a v6 twin turbo but no idea from what.

I was expecting big things at the show, it wasn't to be! Although it was still a good day out, I'm with Chris and glad we only had a 45 minute journey! Was good to say hello to the two boys from Scotland, you seemed to be enjoying yourselves! :) what happened to your car on your last run stu? Watched u go down, stop and then get pushed! The yellow impreza just pipped Andy forester for the win, although he was a tenth slower with a 9.31 he was the 1ST to react! Andys car apparently was the subaru legacy engine with 2 massive turbo'd strapped to it, it looked awesome under the bonnet, an at 151 over the line it definitely had some poke! :)

I turned up on Saturday evening, but with no car due to a head failure at lunch time.

So I just got rather drunk that night (with channy who decided to join the party!) and spent the next day with a hangover, cursing about my heap of shit not being there and getting a tan.

Was going for my last run of the day, got a 1.660 60 foot time, 1st,2nd gear thought i was flying then no third gear!! car just reved up and my gear stick was just wobbly like the a gear rods had broken? but they are ok and it was too late in the day to strip the box down ;-)

It was either load the car up on sat or try and fix it!
We got her going again :)

Just need to fix mine now!!

Sorry to hear about your car Andy, i know what its like to be looking forward to an event and then your car let you down.

At least there was 2 cars out there having a go :cool: Hope you get your box fixed soon Stu ;-)

What 1/4 mile times were you 2 doing?

We still had a great time Mark,
We managed to fix Bobbys gearbox on sat and mine went on my last run so still a great weekend.
I only got one timed run on the 1/4 mile 11.49 @115 mph i think my last run when the box let go would have been faster? ;-)

I still have lots i would like to do to the car to make it lighter and should get the times down and take a spare box with me ;-)

Looking at some older times in gti-rs i seen 11.70 ish @ 125 mph?

Is there any photos or vids from TOTB as i forgot to take photos!
