Permanent cure for throttle body rubber caps blowing off.

After having them blow off on a few occasions making the car run like crap I decided I'd make sure it never happened again!

Mark. I get this problem, more so, if I use anti-lag. How have you done it. I thought the next time my engine is out I would grind off level and weld over. Den.

I cleaned the plating off the end of the tube so it was back to bare metal then put a blob of weld over the end with the tig welder. Possibly a bit over the top but i'll never have to worry about them leaking again!

They're there to allow you to balance the throttle bodies.

yeah i done the same thing just used some 4mm hose, 3 T pieces, and some spring clamps so all 4 of them run to the blow off valve
