Eh?

You've got 285mm discs and want to change them for 285mm discs... that are in two parts?

Is this a "parts wanted" because I'll move the thread if it is, or is this more like "can anyone get me a good deal"?

I have a 310mm wilwood kit which I wouldn't mind trading down to a 285 setup, if that's what you've got?

The 310 comes with seperate disks and bells.

I need some new discs and pads 4 mine and they need to fit behind 15's that's the main reason I'm not going bigger.

Don't think hi-spec ever did a 285mm 2 peice as its too expensive to do for a relatively small disc. The smallest I've seen them doing is 300mm.

Yeah but I've never seen a 2 peice 285mm disc. Its more used on larger discs where the extra weight of a solid disc is more noticeable as they get thicker too.

I don't think Hispec did them though for our car.Maybe they can ake you a one off up or if you do get one from another company then make sure you give them the measurements off your disc, specificly the bell as it your calipers will be at a certain offset to suit the discs you already have.

Is there some technical reason for this or is it purely cosmetic as i don't see it as being a financial benefit .

Well I'm not too sure what unsprung weight means but the manin reason I'm looking to do this is because I want too stick with 15'' wheels and without paying and arm an a leg 4 new brackets so I can get 300 mm discs the 285mm is the best option 4 heat dispersion and brake fade.

I don't understand what you're asking: you've got what pricey wants, or you also want a set of split discs?

- I suspect from your other thread you're also after some replacement parts, but it it so important to have them split; they look like they were one-piece before and about the only thing that survived your little adventure.
