Well my mate gave e a call last night asking me if i wanted to go halfs on this beast with him as a project i thought why not lol we pick it up sunday. I had never seen one before i had seen th GTTI hard tops but this is earlier and there are only 2 left in the country of only 15 ever sold ))))))

ive driven one of them charade turbos and there nippy little boogers. one of them cars that put a grin on your face. never seen a soft top one though.

lol curling tongs i wouldnt usally go for soft tops apart form mk1 golf cabbys however its such a rare car that i couldnt miss the chance at such a cheap price.

Good job there is only two in the country i only have one other homo as competition hahahaha

You know sometimes people mistake rarity for desirability when in fact it was the case that their was only two batty boys bent enough to of bought one in the first place lol.

Good luck with it though, They do have a cracking little motor in them.

littel up date on the beast and a few pics, we managed to get the old engine and gearbox out and gave the engine bay a good degreasing and clean, and stripped all interior got all brakes etc of aswell
