Looks like a standard dp to me, they have cut the original cat flange off and modified it to fit the new system.

yeh i thought it looked like the standard downpipe cause it has the casing round the pipe, i shall not be buying it if it is the standard one as the advert says stainless system. i did email him before but got no reply

I'm not convinced with that downpipe either.It certainly looks like the standard downpipe to me, with free rust.

its a standard dp just had the flange cut off and a bit of pipe welded on the end

No, the standard downpipe is a peice of shit with flattened out bits and very restrictive.I wouldn't have one for free let alone pay for one.If it really is the standard one then the item isn't as described so you aren't being a git not paying.You could try offering less, letting him keep the downpipe and sourcing a mongoose one off here.
