I have a 420-440 bhp pulsar, can i use 2.5" pipe dim or is it recommended to use 3" straight thru?. Thats what i am using now, but is loud like hell. And i am trying to find a backbox i can use, or a catback thats not so loud. Any suggestions:?

Don't discount the value of custom exhaust places though; I would suggest that you'll loose some of that power going to a 2.5" system, but it will be quieter.
I'd keep the 3" system, but as you say, get some resonators welded in, and maybe a back box too. - PipeWerx have built some good systems like that, but the postage would be a killer.

Changing the tail pipe down from 4inch to 3inch will quiten it slightly. You could look at fitting a bung in the tail pipe. Adding a larger or second silencer in the middle of the system where the existing silencer is. You should be able to get a silencer to fit in the standard position made up to mate to the existing system from where it comes over the rear subframe also. This would probably be the best overall option

Short and sweet:

Keep it a 3" system, go to a local exhaust shop and get them to replace the baffles with the biggest units you can fit in their place

That will lower the sound level much more and it will give your sanity back.

Also, if you can change the rear tail pipe to a 3" outlet then do that too.

I dont know Trond personally, just thru different forums. I been looking at the backbox option. I have the Blueflame exhaust someone know if this is louder than others?

I'd take Andy's advice then - get some big baffles welded into it and don't stress about the back box; you'll definitely take some of the noise off.
You can probably get a straight-through style back box if that's still required.
