yeah that is what i also have in mind.
or i can poly the RHD midconsole with the LHD midconsole lower mounting points.

I will fit one in a couple of weeks with modified dash trim and will make a how to for ya.
Then you will only have to find a cup holder (and maybe a dash trim).

There are some cupholders for sale here if im not mistaken.

They're not that great - they tend to get in the way of the stereo and/or the gearstick, so I find that if I put something in the holder the stereo changes tracks when I change gear and hit it.

Still, better than trying to hold your drink I guess.

That's why I've got the Tomei shortshift. I'm cupholder-compatible. 8)
It would just be fantastic to have on long trips.
