hey lads ive cleaned the MAF, checked plug gaps, new pluds & leads. but im still getting hesitation when im cruising at 30 40 50 mph etc. when i put my foot down or on boost its fine. its just when crruising along?? any idias guys??

also what is the light on the dash next to engine management light? the 1 that looks like a box with 3 horizontal lines above it?? this is on constant??

aaaah!
under the driverseat carpet you will find a plug which has a steel braided wire on it....well unplug it;-)

then reset the ecu by linking a wire across the top 2 right hand terminals in plug where fuses are located (by driver door) you will need to do this twice!
turn ignition on then bridge terminals for about 3 seconds (diagnostic light on dash will start to blink series of codes) then do it again for another 3 seconds, this will erase all fault codes found in ecu

car will be fine after doing that

I think thats the original temp sensor for the cat.It is supposed to show when the cat is overheating and as most remove the cat it becomes redundant.

above is correct its the hotdog light, and as john said 'your avcr will be fine'

was as i said, spoke to him today.
he thought because the steel cable had been cut that it was unplugged but it just sends it straight to earth by cutting the cable, you need to physically unplug it to break the circuit and reset ecu



haha beat me to it:lol:
