Finally picked my car up today. Left home at 5.30 this morning to get to solihull. Arrived there at 8.00. Got the tyres changed from what it failed the mot on last week, then got tax disc and off i we all the way home. . . . . . .

Well not quiet all the way home straight away. Got to the m25 at A1 turn off and let the woman on her way home in the fiesta and i popped to my model car shop to get some bits (peeps bog) then down the road to one of my local rc tracks to meet some of my mates practicing (more bogging and some drooling) then to get the seal of approval from Mr pulsarbobby. Then off to my mum and step dads for approval.

Cheers to Mr pulsarbobby for sorting out a few bits n bobs (hehe no pun intended)! and a little wise advice on the adjustment of my clutch.

Photos tomorrow after through clean and polish providing the weather holds out.

I love it sooo much it. im sure i have had lob on all day !! :)

Right after a long and knackering saturday and a nice sunday lie in (first in about 8 weeks)!

After performing husbandly chores (inc taking the missus shopping at garden center in the wee beast) i finally got to clean her.

Got all bits together. 10 litre bucket with autoglym shampoo conditioner,a meguiars microfibre wash mitt.

Got the pressure washer out, put the simonez pre wash onto it and low pressure washed all the dirt the gently high pressure rinsed it off. washed all over car inc door sills under doors, arches under boot n bonnet.

All this whilst it was bloody raining !!! Only lightly luckily.

A bit of luck as i finished rinsing down the car the light rain cleared, sun came out, so i could chamois the car down.

Unfortunately the rain was to return so i couldnt polish, adjust clutch pedal ,look at speedo and water temp guage, hoover inside etc. so maybe next sunday if i dont race my nitro cars.

Anyway a few piccies :-

Look how shiney and i havent even polished it yet !!

MMMMmmm reflections

Interior not yet hoovered to my standards

all interior is pristine no wear what so ever.

Engine bay to be washed and detailed only k&n panel filter to go in no other mods. Oh and battery surround and clear battery base are being cleaned.

New OE tubby installed only 3 yrs ago look how shiney it still is.

No dump valve not even a recirulating one.

Got it from a guy called mike in Solihull. He had had it for a year garaged with little use. The guy before that had it for seven years garaged again and was mega fussy over it aparently. As soon as it was imported it was put under some sort of insured warranty cover and boy did the bloke before mike ever use it well. When we all have over next meet I'll lug the paper work along with me. :)
