i have just installed an apexi safc II and an apexi avcr and im looking some good settings for both of them. thanks in advance for the info

pay someone good money and they will set it up for you, cant just twiddle a few buttons and every car is different

Like Shroom says there isnt a "standard" setting which will be suited to your car as every car seems to have different specs and there own unique foibles.

Take it to someone who knows there stuff, as if you end up fiddling with it yourself to save cash then you'll probably end knackering something far more expensive, its far to often you see posts of Ive changed this setting and now the cars running terrible or for sales on pistonheads of I changed this cars running horrible and I cant afford to fix it. Play safe!

im the only person with a gtir in my country. but there are lots of wrx, evo's glanza's but none of the other turbo guy has in an apexi safc or an apexi avcr so right now im stuck. a friend of mine from canada told me that i can find the answer here

search matey there loads on it.

For 280-300bhp there`s very little needed, exhaust, filter, boost controller, plugs and fuel pump then get the air fuel ratio`s checked to ensure you don`t melt anything.

by the sounds of it though, you need to get the safc setup by someone in the know

thanks. so far i have a walbro fuel pump, 300zx air flow meter, forged pistons, apexi safc II , apexi avcr, hdi front mount intercooler, hks 45i spark plugs, magnacor 8mm plug leads . so what else besides a mongoose turbo back exhaust system do i need to have a really mean machine?

im on the stock rims and tyres 195 / 70/14 that rim and tyre size would be best for the gtir? i have some light weight 17's but they seem a lil big

Nothing really. All you need is a walbro pump, increased boost (~1.2bar), air filter and exhaust. Not to mention a remap or at least having your ratios checked to be sure you're not running lean.

i had issues with the hks plugs , maybe worth changing to cheap ngk plugs! do a search on here youll find the plug no.

195/70/14s are not standard tyres they're massively over sized diammeter wise.

Best compromise is a lightweight 16" with around a 205/40 or 195/45 (maybe even a 215/40) as it also allows for bigger brakes.

15s on a 195/55 or 205/50 are similar to the standard diammeter.

What do your 17s weigh? with 215/35s they might be OK.

They do different things, but they work together quite well (from what I can see); so yes.
