Gaskets galore & torque settings

Iv had a good skeg through some old post and found a few answers i was looking for!:thumbsup:

Now iv just bought a Turbo and a ss mani off wor Bobby , and a goose downpipe to follow at the end of the month, Iv been looking around for gaskets for

Mani to Block
Mani to Tubby
Tubbyi to Downpipe

1.Now i cant seem to find any info or prices , im i best going to nissan or are there better ones out there??

2.Also i might aswell fit ss braided hoses oil/water ,are the ones on ebay anygood/ok, a point in the right direction will be appreciated

3............ O iv found the torque settings for the mani to head but cant find F'all on turbo mani torque settings and downpipe to tubby can any one help thanks


any additinal info on fitting these parts will be mucho appreciated

I would just go to Nissan for the gaskets, there nice and cheap and more then enough capable of doing the job...

make sure you get the multi layered steel exhaust gasket for an s14 there not that expensive either;-).i would get all your stuff from nissan

As above, Ive just done this job and bought all the gaskets from Nissan (including the multilayer manifold gasket) they were readily available and not expensive.
Hose solutions are good for braided hoses, got them on mine

iv just pm'd you fella , but forgot to ask wot torque settings you applied to your turbo to mani joint

I just did them up tight, you should replace the lock tabs too. You may not be able to get a torque wrench on them anyway iirc its an open ended spanner job
