personally did not notice anything neither did my friend who fitted one to his evo so as i said all it does is look good

The only reason I ask is the WRC Pulsars had these albeit in carbon fibre, then again we all know the overheating problems they had!
I'm sure someone (I think it's Geoff Pine) has one, and said that it does improve the airflow and cooling.
I appreciate that they may look nice any shiny in the engine bay, just like catch cans etc do... but like catch cans, they're not supposed to be a cosmetic addition; they're supposed to serve a function. - I guess I'm just not big on doing things to look pretty, I like to do things that have an effect.

I don't see why the idea would not work in principal though i doubt you would actually see the difference or notice it with out doing other work on the front .If you want to reduce under bonnet temps then get rid of the top mount and the cheese grater vent and fit a reverse vent now that does reduce temps .
