full nissan gasket kit (it comes with sealent )
bearings can either be nissan or acl but size you won't know till you see the condition of the crank/if it needs grinding or not

I probably would have said the same about the pistons; you don't know what size you need until you've looked at the bores... but I don't really know that.

as above nick, do not order pistons unless youve checked the blocl first as they maybe useless unless you buy another good block off me or whoever!
but looking at it from the other side if your block needs a rebore then il buy a set of 86.5mm pistons and swap you so you wont be out of pocket either way as i like to use 86mm in rebuilds we do if possible.

get a set of bearings (but as said you wont know how good your crank is till its checked out!
acl or oe thrust washers
'' '' main bearings
arp rod bolts are a must
use a hks tomei or cosworth h/g not cometic
chain and tensioner should be fine assuming the cars never jumped a rocker
other part that wears and is deffo worth replacing is the oil pump
change front and rear crank oil seals (but youll get the front one with oil pump)
and as danny said....topend gasket set which will give you all the stem seals etc etc
dont use arp head studs either, standard bolts are fine!

Dont forget to check the exhaust valve stem guides.

PS should NEVER order pistons until you see and measure the bores...

Hey Nick, What's happened to the old lump then? As for advice everything bob said...
Hi ED

Had the rocker cover powder coated, and we are more than sure some little bits of sand was left on the underside, and went for a ride around the engine
