Ive decided to sell my R... this one - http://www.gtiroc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55116

The reason is because I want one that is standard so it can be MY work, with less miles and newer. I have found a couple in Japan as I am going to import another. What do you think to these 2?

Im liking the white one. 8)

How come the white one doesnt have a GTiR steering wheel? Also why does it have a red R on the GTiR badge as not all do?

Whats the total cost to inport and make it legal for the uk roads as theres no way of knowing if its allways been a standard car ? .480000 looks expensive if it will not pass the shaken (i think thats what its called ) then whats its true value ?

Yes its called a Shaken. I understand what your saying but who says it has had its shaken yet, it could just be coming up?! I am going to find out about this soon... Also how does one know that ANY pulsar has always been a 'standard' one or not! It looks good to me, the only mods I definatly dont want is engine ones.

Hopefully I can find all these things out in more detail. Shipping is about 100000 yen. So total cost of car to the UK is about £3800 which isnt bad at all for a 1993 GTiR with 57000 miles on the clock, and i should be able to make an offer on the car and get it a little cheaper. Then im not sure about costs of getting it registered and sorted for UK roads yet. Anyone know anything about that side of things??

I'd say if you hold out, you could get something with a little lower mileage, check out this beauty that came up a couple of months ago, very standard looking, probably snapped up for a reasonable price 8)

Keep an eye on the USS Auto Auction mate, http://bzl.cis6200.jp/e/ login is V39647. Clean example's don't come up very often but they do come up! You should get a very nice one for 480,000 - 500,000 Yen, i'd expect those cars would have been picked up for about half that price at auction!
