tuners in the north west?

What do you want doing to your car tuning wise TDI north are in warrington if its just basic car stuff take it a local garage with a decent rep or do it your self its just a car

Someone was telling me about a place called 'Mikecanic' in Cheshire that tunes rally cars... but I don't know anything more about them than that (google give me nothing).

EDIT: I lie - this is them... is £35 good for a power run on the rolling road? What about £60 for the first hour of tuning on it? That seems quite cheap to me, but I haven't ever been on one so don't really know.

I agree with Geoff though... unless you need the car mapped or something like that, a local garage that you trust can do anything you want for a much better price.

Whereabouts are you in the North West?

Most "tuners" will take your cash and bullshit you to death with mumbo-jumbo lies.

It also depending on what you want, tbh I'd do it yourself or find a company that’s not a tuner. Places that specialise in specific areas like engine building or auto electronics are the better business to visit as they specialise in these areas and are not jack of all trades were there could be issues or poor work.

im based in lancs, the r is not mine yet but i should be picking it up tomoz. its running uprated boost on a hks boost controller and it neeeds the apex afc setting up on the rollers.

Without a doubt I would recommend the racing line in halifax. Used them a couple of times with good results, and nice blokes.

If you just want the AFC setting up I would go to TDi North. Ask for Mark and tell him your one of the N/W lads of the GTiROC. Tell him Andy Chan sent you and they will look after you.
