well after driving around for two years with one odd seat, got around to putting in a cheap second bucket seat.

frame came from NZ.

£45 For seat frame
£30 Postage
£20 ripped of by Parcel force

i made the mounts for the drivers side with box section. there bang on for me.
the driver seat is way taller thou as its a evo xl instead of a sprint

what about floor mounted mate, i`ve got one to go in with the bolts straight out the bottom of the seat.

I'll be getting side mounted moulded seats because they are a lot more comfier than the cheap bottom mounted fixed back ones! Looking at the standard subframes i don't think it will be too difficult to knock up some frames that use the existing seat mount points.

Tim my cheap £130 sparco sprint seat is alot more comfier than my £350 sparco seat its just that the evo seat is a little wider.
be careful when getting your seats

I guess it's down to personal preference but in my experience moulded seats are far more comfier than the ones made out of metal frames.

BTW, the seller can mark the goods as a 'gift' all day long, but if the parcel value is over the threshold then it will still be subject to charges upon arrival in the UK. Note how Parcel Farce also kindly charge you a fee, to process the import fees!
