engine making loud noise

hi my car was off the road for about a month or so because i nedded to put a new clucth in but since then the car is very loud from the engine its makes a ( tik tik tik tik tik ) very fast and loud. i did know that pulsar engines are loud but not this loud can anyone help. cheers

hi mate i got the rocker arms and shims changed not to long ago but the car still drives normal and pulls well in every gear but its just that the noise gets annoying.

it could be the injectors, they're noisey

it could be virtually anything and you will get 100 different answers.......

yes mate it comes from the top of the engine .

its comes from the main engine e.g. top header is that a bit batter discription for you. i will try post a video of it on the youtube and i will foward you the link.

Has the noise just started?

As I mean a ticking noise can be anything from shims to uprated injectors making a noise. The reason I ask has it just started as the Sr20 is a very tickity engine at the best of times, even a 100% perfect engine will probably make some sort of ticking noise.

hi mate it did make a slight noise before but it seemes to be very loud now for some reason. it has got uprated injectors but the noise sounds like its coming from the main head.

if you the lad i see up track and sc it is the shimming you can tell from the noise buddy sounds like mine lol

We dont have tappets mate. Its hydrolic. Read up on the cheap shim fix.
