Hi Guys

Any one had the same happen

Have a 19 row oil cooler on

And i have Got rid of the oil separator
just have a catch tank now with one of the outlets venting through a crank case filter.

My Oil Presure has now dropped to 2.5 bar on start up (hks power meter) which stays on 2.5 bar on idle.( should it not be 6 bar on start up)

presure still raises well to 4/6 bar when driving

is this a bad thing

ANYONE !!!!!!!!

Have you just changed anything or has your setup been that way for ages?

Factory figures are at least 0.98bar at idle and about 3.3-4.3 above 3200rpm. You seem well above that so don't worry about not having 6bar at any time.

When you started it up was the car hot? Oil pressure at idle is generally higher when the oils cold.

If you've just set it up this way, then I'd be tempted to put it back how it was and see if that sorts it. If it does then you know where your problem is.

The cold weather would have given you a higher pressrue reading on cold start ups.

I'm not familiar with the HKS power meter. Does it take an electrical oil pressure signal off the standard electrical sensor, does it have it's own, or is it a mechanical sensor?
