Would these fit?

Just wondering if the following set of wheels would fit a GTI-R. The car has been lowered 30mm all round. Would spacers be necessary? What problems would one come across (apart from the speedo possibly being out)?

7.5x18" ET45 with 215-35-ZR18 Yokohama Parada's?

Thanks8)

What problems - the car would handle like shit!

Re fitting, Disco Dave on here had 18's on his old R, but don't know anything about the fitment etc.

Your wheel size will increase by 38mm over OE, for ref 205/40/17 is 25mm
Your ride height will go back up 20mm again from the OE, for ref 205/40/17 is 13mm
You may need to bend back arches to accomodate but you might be lucky and they go straight on. (Do a search)
I think Jonnee runs 225/45/16 for his trackdays and they are the same size
Gearing and weight will increase, both of which will make your car slower to accelerate
Your theoretical top speed would increase
You will need to avoid pot holes, speed ramps and even small divets in the road
Small children will point and stare
You will earn much respect amongst people wearing burberry
Young ladies might feel the urge to drape themselves all over your car at shows/cruises etc

Whatever sails your boat ;-)
