Wow old thread, totally forgotten i'd ever had a sunstrip :lol:
To answer a few questions:
Celm - Wheels are Team Dynamics and are 17"
Geoff - the MOT man is a mate and passed it fine, just gave an advisory of small plate fitted, the cops however were a different story, they pulled me twice and then threatened to get serious so it had to come off.
Lee - the original job was done by Spraytek in Bolton, they used a paint that is now obsolete as I found out a month ago when I had both rear arches replaced. My sprayer had to buy a colour made for Aprilia motorbikes and mix it with tinters to get the exact shade, not an easy task to mix a pearlescent paint and get it to match in both natural and indoor lighting, but he did it. If you are truly interested I can pass on his details, or you could buy my R - it will be up for sale at AutoBMC from next Saturday as ive traded it for a Skyline GTR they had
