I think I remember someone saying they'd undone a lot of the work that had gone into the shell; mainly because dropping the suspension like that (chopped strut towers wasn't it?) doesn't give suitable travel for rally driving.

Weren't there some shots of it from the Isle of Mull rally that Martyn took?

yeah it was madness cutting down those rear turrets
i spoke to a couple people who saw the car on circuit at snetterton and evidentally it was all over the place the handling was atrocious
kind of like mine is now :lol:
